Potter is now a three-park conversation
Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and Ministry of Magic are not interchangeable. Fans who “already did Universal” still have a new land.
Where the stories sit
Diagon Alley
Universal Studios Florida. This is the London facade and the street people photograph first — plus the headliner that lives here. Plan it as its own morning or evening, not a five-minute walk-through.
Hogsmeade
Islands of Adventure. The village, the castle, and some of the biggest Potter rides on the original campus. It pairs with Diagon Alley only if your ticket actually includes the train.
Ministry of Magic
Epic Universe. A different chapter in a different park. Do not assume an older 2-park ticket includes it, and do not treat it as a quick add-on after Islands.
The train
Hogwarts Express connects the original two parks when you have the right ticket. It does not go to Epic Universe. That third land is a separate day and a separate ticket conversation.
