Disney dining should support the day — not become the day
Some tables are worth waking up for. Some are just a pretty way to lose two park hours. I help you tell the difference for your people.
What “dining plan” even means now
Disney’s prepaid dining offerings change. Sometimes a Disney Dining Plan is offered; sometimes it is not, or not in the form you remember from a previous trip. I will not sell you a memory of 2015. I’ll check what is actually available for your dates and whether paying ahead helps your family or just adds math.

The choices that matter
Table service
A sit-down meal is rest, air-conditioning, and a memory — or a bottleneck. Decide which before you stack three of them.
Quick service
Faster, often cheaper, easier with toddlers. Still benefits from a plan so you are not hangry in the longest line.
Character meals
Wonderful for some first visits. A lot of sitting for some toddlers. Honest ages help.
Mobile orders and allergies
The My Disney Experience app is part of modern dining. Dietary needs belong in the first conversation with Ashley, not the night before.
